Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At May Plastic Surgery, appointments and surgical procedures are reserved specifically for each patient. Late cancellations, last-minute scheduling changes, and missed appointments can leave time that cannot reasonably be offered to another patient. To help us provide consistent availability and dedicated time for every patient, the following cancellation and rescheduling policies apply.
Med Spa Appointments
We kindly ask that any cancellation or scheduling change be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
Late Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled or rescheduled between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $100 late cancellation fee.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $200 late cancellation fee.
Missed Appointments
Patients who do not attend their scheduled appointment and do not provide notice prior to the appointment time are subject to a $250 no-show fee.
Card on File
A valid credit card may be required to reserve an appointment. By scheduling an appointment and acknowledging this policy, you authorize May Plastic Surgery to charge the applicable late cancellation or no-show fee to the card on file when the terms of this policy apply.
Surgical Procedures
Scheduling a surgical procedure reserves a significant block of your surgeon's time, operating room availability, clinical staff, and coordination of other resources specifically for your procedure. Because these resources are reserved well in advance, surgical procedures are subject to the following cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Surgical Deposit
A $2,000 non-refundable surgical deposit is required to reserve a surgery date.
The deposit is applied toward the total surgical fee but is non-refundable if the patient elects to cancel the scheduled procedure.
Final Payment
The remaining balance for surgery is due three weeks (21 days) before the scheduled procedure date.
If a patient cancels a surgical procedure within 21 days of the scheduled procedure date, all surgical fees paid are non-refundable.
Rescheduling Surgery
Patients may reschedule their surgical procedure one time without penalty when the request is made more than 21 days before the scheduled procedure date.
Additional requests to reschedule may require a new surgical deposit and are subject to scheduling availability.
Requests to reschedule within 21 days of surgery are generally not permitted except in the event of significant extenuating circumstances, including circumstances in which proceeding with surgery would be medically inappropriate.
Any exception is made at the discretion of May Plastic Surgery and does not guarantee that the original surgical date, a particular future date, or the same pricing will remain available.
Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that illness, emergencies, and circumstances outside of a patient's control can occur. May Plastic Surgery reserves the right to waive or modify cancellation and rescheduling fees at its discretion based on the individual circumstances.
Outstanding Fees
Any outstanding cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show fees must be paid before scheduling or receiving future non-emergency services at May Plastic Surgery.
